Modis is currently seeking an IBM WebSphere/ACI Systems Engineer for an exciting permanent opportunity with our global banking client, located in the downtown Chicago area. Our client is using ACI Worldwide's product for ACH payments and is in need of a systems engineer who can install, configure and support this product within a virtualized ed Hat Linux and WebSphere environment. This is a 100% infrastructure specialist role and requires in-depth knowledge of the ACI product line, in addition to WebSphere MQ and generalized infrastructure administration/engineering. JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Installing, configuring, tuning and administering the ACI Payments system on IBM WebSphere. Experience with ACI Worldwide is a must-have skill. - Serving as the lead point of contract for all new infrastructure upgrades, server high availability, performance optimization and capacity planning activities. - Setting up, configuring, maintaining and fine-tuning the Red Hat Linux environment, consisting of 100+ virtualized Servers (VMWare ESX 4.5-5.0) - Configuring and supporting MQ Messaging, which is an integral part of ensuring consistent ACH payment delivery.
