On their behalf we are recruiting for an Electronics Engineer whose key responsibilities include; � Electronic Assembly Manufacture to support their laser manufacturing facility within a busy electronics workshop � Providing diagnostics and system test support for their Production and R&D departments � PSU and laser head assembly � PCB testing � Electrical fault finding � Post assembly mechanical cleaning � Internal quality checking Educated to degree level or equivalent the successful candidate will have � a proven scientific or technical background; � a minimum of 5 years electronics experience; � an in-depth electronics knowledge of analogue and digital (including embedded systems) � experience liaising with sub-contract supply is beneficial � Good understanding of circuit schematics � Fault finding & problem solving skills � Basic electronics design skills � Soldering skills With an ability to work under pressure and to achieve deadline the successful candidate will be self motivated and a team player and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position is initially offered on a 6 month fixed term contract however the role may lead to permanent employment for the right candidate.
