Senior Billing Analyst - 12 months fixed term contract
Carillion are recruiting a Senior Billing Analyst for our offices in Manchester. The core role is to ensure accurate invoices are prepared and issued to the customer in a timely manner, through management and supervision of billing analysts, ensuring optimum and accurate billing is delivered to the client. Data is gathered from other teams and systems and will be consolidated and validated prior to issuing invoices. Ensure excellent lines of communication are developed with account managers. Responsibilities include: - Using and updating JIP reports, to identify billable jobs and jobs that require further action - Generates reports from fusion and client systems - Ensure appropriate data is gathered and validated within defined timescales- The ability to identify any issues with the supply of data from other teams and take appropriate action to resolve - Foster excellent relationships and communication with internal teams, suppliers and external customers - Work with other teams to maximise identification of revenue generating works - Build monthly submissions for Account manager / Clients, ensuring all necessary supporting documentation is obtained - Manage any necessary amendments to raised voucher or prior to vouchering, as per Account manager instruction - Where write-off required, seek approval of finance managers / operations directors and carry out necessary adjustments, to remove from JIP/WIP - Where chargeable, raise either a composite invoice or invoice on an individual basis dependant on contract rules - Generates accurate monthly billing invoices for all jobs and distributes them to customers with appropriate supporting information - Swift query resolution with credit control and clients - Attend weekly MOS reviews with team leader - Ensure procedures and process are documented and relevant to current environment - Complete tasks allocated by management To apply for this role please visit our website at www.carillionplc.com/careers and search for vacancy number 15868 Company Information: Carillion is one of the UK's leading support services companies with a substantial portfolio of Public Private Partnership projects and extensive construction capabilities.
