Network Engineer - LAN/ WAN/ DataCentre/ Cisco - Cardiff - CONTRACT Duration: Initially 6-8 Weeks with likely extensions Rate: Negotiable Daily Requirement: Experienced Network Engineer required who will have in-depth experience of supporting and configuring LAN, WAN, DataCentre, Internet infrastructures. The candidate will have detailed understanding of IP routing, Layer 2/ 3 infrastructures and next generation Cisco Nexus technology, they should also be familiar with Virtualised infrastructures. The ideal candidate will be Cisco Certified to the minimum level of CCNP or CCIE Written and have 5yrs experience in large scale enterprise environments. The ideal candidate would also have exposure and/ or detailed knowledge of Checkpoint Cisco ASA F5 Networks Juniper VoIP. The successful candidate will be expected to "hit the floor" running and step straight into an operational environment supporting the operations of a global enterprise. They are also expected to be able to pick up complex network roll outs and complete independently or work as part of a larger team.
