Interim Logistics Development Engineer
THE OPPORTUNITY: Macildowie are currently recruiting for an interim Logistics Development Engineer to join a large Manufacturing business located in Staffordshire. THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: - To develop internal logistic systems across a new factory - To implement logistics processes across packaging, inventory, transport routes - To continually look at developing and improving logistics processes - Involvement with value stream transformation process and supply chain processes - Use of lean concepts and tools - Leader of supply chain improvements - Use of supply chain analytical tools EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: - Candidates need to have experience of developing internal logistics within a business - APICS, CPIM OR CSPC - Strong people focus, excellent influencing skills - Candidates will come from a Manufacturing, Automotive or Heavy Engineering background TO APPLY: Please ensure you provide the following to ensure that we are able to assess your details accurately: • Your current CV • An outline of your basic salary and any additional benefits you receive. • Sufficient evidence to demonstrate your suitability against the 'essential' and, if relevant, the 'desirable' experience sought for this vacancy.
