Payroll & Cashbook Administrator
Due to impending maternity leave, my client based near Huntingdon is looking for someone with experience in payroll and accounts to join their small but busy accounts department. Reporting in to the Finance Manager, your duties will include; Preparing an processing weekly and four weekly payrolls Administering and maintaining records for these payrolls Maintaining time and attendance system Bank reconciliations Cashbook administration including making payments General ledger analysis Processing staff expenses Supplier statement reconciliations Month end and cash book accruals Entering general ledger journals Starting in July, this role will last for at least one year and you will be employed by the business. A strong background in payroll is essential and knowledge of other areas of accounts would be a benefit, although training will be given in this area to some degree. Starting in July will allow a minimum of a month's handover with the current incumbent. In addition to practical experience of the job in hand, the successful candidate will have good communication skills, the ability to work to deadlines and be IT literate. Knowledge of Sage would be an advantage but not essential as again, training will be given. Send your CV for immediate consideration.
