A prestigious Company working in the field of construction plant engineering is now recruiting for a Heavy Plant Fitter/Supervisor to work nationally with the possibility of going overseas. To apply you will need to have a mechanical engineering qualification, supervisory experience, a working knowledge of LOLER legislation and hands on experience of heavy construction plant maintenance. Responsibilities To maintain all machinery in optimum operating condition by servicing and repairing both on and off site. Cover for the Area Manager in his absence Business development Manage the movement of plant equipment Stock control and ordering Ensure a high standard of Health and Safety is maintained Develop a professional relationship with colleagues and clients Attend meetings as required General administration maintaining records, documentation etc. Requirements City & Guilds in mechanical engineering Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation Ability to motivate others Excellent communication skills Ability to work under pressure to set deadlines and prioritise tasks A confident and flexible attitude Good health Driving licence   Are you enthusiastic about this job?
