Android Developer In this role you will be responsible for creating world-class production mobile, tablet and web client applications across major platforms including Android and iOS. You must be willing to insist on the highest standards for quality, maintainability, and performance. You will ensure that engineering best practices are followed and that software for the Android platform is designed to be responsive, reliable and maintainable. Basic Qualifications - Deep understanding of Android mobile development and best practices - Experience writing production Android applications - Track record of building and delivering mission critical, 24x7 production software systems - Deep understanding of engineering best practices - Deep understanding of agile project management methodologies - Experience writing production code (Android) - Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object oriented design - Working knowledge of design patterns - Working knowledge of REST and RPC service patterns and other client/server interaction models - Working knowledge of common Internet technologies (e.g. HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX) - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent Preferred Qualifications - Deep understanding of Android mobile development and best practices - Experience writing production Android applications Please apply online or email ian.mulloy@corestaff.com.
