Our client, a worldwide leader in both Broadcast & Digital Media, is seeking a talented Technical Project Manager to manage several large-scale, complex initiatives.  This will require involvement and coordination of technology activities, managing media infrastructure projects, and focusing on the building out of a Video/Production Control Room in an under construction, state-of-the-art Digital Center. Responsibilities: . Work to design and implement a Production Control Room in new Digital Center; Facilitate the full life cycle of this project from gathering requirements to procurement of materials . Manage large-scale, complex initiatives from initiation through closure . Responsible for the coordination of technology activities, including non-technical tasks such as user training, business process reengineering and organizational change . Responsible for managing projects involving various media infrastructure systems . Adapting core project management principles and processes to best fit a project’s particular circumstances, including the development of the scope of work and the management of time, cost, risk, and communications . Work closely with Systems Engineering, Network Engineering and IT teams . Ensure technology is implemented in accordance to established timelines . Plan, coordinate and direct all activities associated with developing project plans, communication plans, project schedules, etc. by adapting PM fundamentals to best support a particular project . Lead Project Teams through identifying and managing risk and the resolution of issues . Frequently communicate with business and technical middle management, project team and stakeholders Required Skills: . 3+ years of experience managing formal projects and/or functional organizations in an IT infrastructure-related environment . Able to quickly solve complex problems in a challenging, dynamic environment with minimal direction . Experience facilitating meetings / workshops with large groups of people beyond the project team, facilitating the project team through the resolution of complex issues, ensuring group participation, driving workshop/meeting to conclusion and developing and delivering outcomes/results/notes in a manor appropriate to the level of the group . Wide range of leadership competencies, technical (PM) experience and communications skills . Comfortable working around various technologies (any broadcast television, video tv production operations experience is a plus) . Demonstrated flexibility in modifying PM methods and style to best match a specific project’s needs . General understanding of client’s business and operating model with the ability to come up to speed quickly in a new environment . College degree required .
