Human Resource and Recruiter Representative
Summary of Position: A part-time HR Representative is needed to recruit, train, administer benefits/wages, conduct interviews, make hiring recommendations, and manage the company staff 25+ hours a week. Duties & Responsibilities : § Generating candidates for each territory through ad placements, reaching out to appropriate schools and working with other candidate referral sources. § Managing the application process through pre-screening, scheduling interviews, verifying candidate references, etc. § Maintaining accurate and organized records regarding the employment process for each candidate, compare qualifications and job requirements, and analyze responses. § Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks. § Plan and conduct new employee orientation and all new employee set up required for one’s first day. § Identify and manage training and development needs for employees § Develop and implement human resources policies and procedures § Administer HR policies and procedures § Administer compensation and benefits § Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. § Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training. Essential Team Functions: § Work in a team environment understanding the basic elements of all departments and how they interact. § Communicate with each other effectively, sending clear concise messages, expressing ideas, interpretations, and feedback. § Work productively and efficiently by being organized. Education and Experience: § Degree or diploma in human resources management, business administration or equivalent § Generalist Human Resources and Recruiter experience, 3-5 years § Knowledge of the principles and practices of HR management § Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations § Knowledge of relevant software Knowledge and Interpersonal Skills: § Phone Skills, Recruiting, Interviewing Skills, People Skills, Supports Diversity, Employment Law, Results Driven, Professionalism, Organization, Project Management, Judgment § Prioritize, multitask and execute in fast-paced dynamic environment § Organizational skills and attention to detail § Proficiency with computer and applicable software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet and E-mail. www.redcard.com
