.Net Developer (Contract-to-Hire)
.* This position is for local candidates only. This is a contract-to-hire position. No corp-to-corps.* Essential Job Duties: Key activities that a person in this role engages in with frequency or criticality - Use business requirements to define programming specifications, develop applications, test applications and implement systems into the production environment. - Manage the systems and software environment for development and production web applications. - Manage and ensure security and infrastructure integrity. - Analyzes existing web-based systems to evaluate effectiveness and develops new, or modifies current systems to improve production or workflow. - Promotes web development methods and techniques. - Maintains a leadership role for other developers in the organization. - Develops & maintains project profiles, goal documents and project plans. - Manages projects, as required - Confers and teams with co-workers to determine scope and limitations of projects - Trains business users and answers questions regarding web applications/systems/environment - Assists business users in resolving application problems. - Develops teaming partnerships with business users. - Provides timely and accurate follow-up to business users. - Can communicate professionally, and at a non-technical level, with business users. - Provides presentations and demonstrations of environment, as required - Develops standards, policies, procedures, and system and user documentation, as needed. Duties may also include: Acting as a second line support to the Programmer Analyst/Web Development and/or Architect Designer/Web Development. Accountabilities: (include planning, programs, performance, quality and policies) Build synergies by teaming with the business partners; Maintain customer focus, good business relationships and provide results; Create system designs and specifications, develop reports, develop utilities, provide modifications to existing web applications and sites, use of best practices, and stay current with software releases, new tools and methodologies; Act as a backup to other eBusiness team members on an as needed basis; Ensures that all applications are compliant with programming standards and procedures; Software maintenance support Implementation of third party applications may be required. Minimum Technical Qualifications Education and Experience: (include licenses and certifications) BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience. Minimum of four (4) years of practical experience in programming, design, development and implementation of complex .NET applications. History of successful large-scale web application design, development and deployment. Minimum of 4 years work related experience with managing web systems/application environments. - Microsoft .NET Framework - C#.NET - ASP.NET - Web Services - XML Microsoft Certified Application Developer(MCAD) or Microsoft Certified Solution Developer(MCSD) for .NET a plus..
