We are looking for a developer to perform the following tasks: Convert our Joomla! 1.5.x site to Joomla! 2.5, Tidy up the template (Inc CSS); Remove any un-needed code, Add comments to CSS and HTML template files for future work, Ensure that all links and file references within the HTML template and CSS file are relative to the site root. As it stands, the site is minimal with only a few articles, and very few plugins/modules (we've even stripped out some of the included ones to reduce size and complexity). The site totals less than 50 pages. The only non-standard plugins/modules on the site are; ARI YUI Menu - used for the websites main menu bar, RokFeatureTable - used on two product pages. The successful candidate is free to replace these if required with a suitable alternative. The existing website can be inspected upon request, and the candidate will have full access to all company branding and artwork if required during the project. Successful completion of this work to a satisfactory standard will result in the candidate being offered additional development work for the site, due to commence in the next 3 months.
