Organization name Franchise Chatter Description of the organization and its target audience Franchise Chatter (www.franchisechatter.com) is a blog and membership site that focuses on three main areas of franchising: franchise due diligence, local store marketing, and buying and selling a franchise. We walk our readers through the entire life of a franchise -- from picking the right franchise opportunity, to marketing a franchise on the local level, and finally to selling a franchised business. Industry Business & Consulting Description I need a new concept/design/illustration for my blog header and sidebar. I will be relaunching my blog (www.franchisechatter.com) to expand my coverage of the franchise world to include every stage in the life of a franchise business (from picking the right franchise, to growing the business, and finally to selling the franchise). NOTE TO DESIGNERS:  Please just do a concept for the header first.  Once I have narrowed down the design to a few finalists, we can then work on the sidebar, which should be easy since it will be based on the shortlisted header design. For the header illustration: Size: The maximum width is 1,0015 pixels. The height can be whatever is appropriate for the design, but within reason. Text: The header should contain the following text: FRANCHISE CHATTER Straight Talk and Independent Analysis for the Franchise World Franchise Due Diligence * Local Store Marketing * Buying and Selling a Franchise Font size: The blog name should have the biggest font size, followed by the tagline, then the smallest font should be for the 3 main topics. (Please use a dot instead of an asterisk to separate the 3 main topics). Font style and color: You have complete freedom to use whatever font style and color that you wish (the current one I'm using for Franchise Chatter has no brand equity, it's just the best font I could find using my blog template). Background color: I want the background color to be white so that the illustration looks like it's floating on the page -- something like http://get10000fans.com/ For the small illustration on the sidebar: Size: Maximum width of 300 pixels. Height is whatever is needed, within reason. The illustration will be used on the sidebar, right above the email newsletter opt-in form. Design, fonts: Please use the same design concept and fonts as the header.
