Junior QA Analyst, Test Analyst, Tester urgently required with testing skills focused on the IT applications development environment and SQL 2000/2005, .NET and Web Applications in Shrewsbury. Our client who is based in Shrewsbury is seeking a Junior QA Analyst, Test Analyst, Tester for a 6 month fix term contract. The company are currently encountering a major modernisation of their network infrastructure, and is looking to replace or migrate their business applications to coexist with the .Net development framework. The Junior QA Analyst, Test Analyst, Tester shall be required to assist with certain tasks, with particular emphasis being placed on:- Testing of bespoke .Net applications development, and SQL Server Objects Assisting with the gathering of User requirements for the generation of User acceptance testing Maintenance of all documentation used within the development lifecycle. Generation of test plans and checklists to support all software testing activities Assist with the deployment and implementation of bespoke software applications. The successful Junior QA Analyst, Test Analyst, Tester will have the following attributes:- Experience in an IT applications development environment. Project Lifecycle Working knowledge of SQL 2000/2005, .NET and Web Applications ISEB Qualified (desirable not essential) Experience in a pressurised but highly structured business environment. Be a self-starter and able to work using initiative. Be extremely ordered and methodical with a good attention to detail. Have high interpersonal skills required to ease the process of assuring the best fit between customer requirements and solutions provided.
