As such, an opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Engineer to join them on an 18 month contract. This exciting opportunity is part of our client’s Knowledge Transfer scheme and will be part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Calex Electronics. If you’re a savvy electronics, mechanical or manufacturing engineering graduate, this is your chance to join a dynamic and innovative company. As a Graduate Engineer, you will research, design, implement and analyse a business process re-engineering programme. The programme is capable of transforming the company’s manufacturing processes, work practices and ordering systems in an efficient manner in order to reduce carbon emissions and energy costs, whilst increasing output, production and profit. A training budget will be used to extend and transfer your knowledge into the project to aid its successful completion and your own personal career development. What’s more, successful completion of this 18 month project may lead to full time employment with the company. To be considered, you must have a degree in electronics, mechanical or manufacturing engineering (or a related discipline). The ideal Graduate Engineer will have a good understanding and appreciation of quality management, including ISO9001.
