Kitchen supervisor 8.30am-1pm Mon-Fri (with the possibility of full time hours in the future and/or overtime) A kitchen supervisor is needed for a new social enterprise kitchen in Angel. Duties include: day-to-day management of the kitchen, planning for catering and hospitality across two buildings, managing other kitchen staff, implementing an ordering system, managing food safety and hygiene and critical control points, managing food costs, training staff, compiling recipe lists. The successful candidate will be extremely organised with previous experience of kitchen management. This role requires a hands on individual who is willing to take initiative. Our kitchen is also a training kitchen, so experience in training would be beneficial and patience and tolerance is essential. A food safety & hygiene certificate would be advantageous.
