Online Marketing Internship (Unpaid)
4-month Ecommerce / Online Marketing Internship Department: Mirror Digital (Reader Offers) Duration: 4 months, full-time, immediate start Compensation: commuting expenses refunded Profile . Graduate (or undergraduate in their last year) . Marketing degree (ideally including online marketing modules) / Online Marketing degree Description of tasks 1. Help with the management of the MirrorReaderOffers website on a day-to-day basis, including: . Updating online content to reflect latest offers in paper . Reviewing latest offers uploaded by suppliers before sending them live (ensuring quality and SEO-friendliness of copy) . Reviewing product pages and url tracking ahead of publication of offers in paper . Liaising with suppliers for on-going optimisation of live copy for SEO purposes . Sorting out customer reviews and send them live as applicable 2. Help with the implementation of customer acquisition marketing strategy, including: . Liaising with our SEO and PPC agencies: ensuring consistency of strategy with our positioning, objectives, and seasonal trends; monitoring revenue and ROI from search marketing . Coordinating schedule and choice of products for print offers ("web drivers") in the Mirror, based on past offers' performance and online trends . Supervising the creation of banners / content to go on our the Mirror website 3. Help with the implementation of customer retention marketing strategy, including: . Segmentation of customer database, based on customer relationship management strategy . Selection of products to promote to each segment for each campaign . Building emails into templates . Sending of emails and tracking of results 4. Help with the generation of weekly and monthly performance reports (from Google Analytics) The intern will gain experience in: . The online retail industry . Running integrated multi-channel activities, ensuring strategic and branding consistency . SEO, PPC and email marketing strategy . Customer Relationship Management . Using and interpreting data to make informed decisions when optimising campaigns
