Social network for homeowners/construction, includes private file area - Facebook
I am looking for bids to build a social network geared toward homeowners and construction. The site should have a social network, as well as a section where the member can put private files for their own use, and these files can also be viewed by others but only if permitted by the member. The site can be built using readily available scripts/engine for social networks, or be built from the ground up. The site can not have any branding on it, meaning that if the site is built using the XYZ engine, then the user can not see the XYZ logo on the site or in their username. I have looked at Ning as a possible engine, and if you can make it work, then that is OK. If you have a different option, I will look at those as well. You can also design the site from scratch. The site should have custom headers and images, etc. not just what the engine provides, and it must have a clean and easy to use home page. Job Description: Your responsibilities: - Review business requirements working with other team members - Perform a technical analysis of requirements - Produce a solid, detailed technical design - Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision - Work with the QA and Customer Support teams to triage and fix bugs with rapid turnaround - Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use Your qualifications: - Programming language(s): Facebook API, Twitter API, LinkedIn API, JavaScript - A work style that is extremely detail oriented - Strong communication skills - A complete Elance profile - References or an established reputation on Elance preferred Desired Skills: Facebook Keywords: Web Programming, Facebook
