Adecco Engineering & Technical is currently looking for an Electronic Engineering Technician w/ Telecommunications for our client in the Eugene, Oregon area! **The Telecommunications function provides engineering, design, and field support for our client’s telecommunication facilities and associated equipment. **This includes fiber optics, analog/mobile radio, digital radio, power line carrier, operational telephone, microwave towers and antennas, emergency AC/DC power and UPS systems, communications buildings, multiplex equipment, and monitoring systems including alarm system, Fault Locating Acquisition Reporter (FLAR), microwave monitor, wide area networks used for operational data and network management. ** This position requires field work in your local regional area, Must have valid drivers license and good driving record -Qualified candidates please send an MS Word version of your resume to carol.heard@adeccona.com or call Carol Heard at (503) 535-2588 Responsibilities Assist in documentation of Telecommunication project requirements Participate on teams to research and document existing inventory of telecommunication and related equipment. Provide Telecommunication equipment inventory support; may include data entry and clean-up efforts. Provide professional engineering technician expertise in support of engineering design and field personnel in all aspects of project documentation. Prepare detailed as built drawings via MicroStation CAD software. Research, locate and document software firmware and version numbers and enter in a database. Perform basic filing and document management. Requirements Requires 1-4 years experience in a technical/engineering environment. A college degree in the area of engineering technician, mathematics, computer science or a related field or any equivalent combination of education is desirable; experience which provides similar knowledge, skills and abilities is required. Proficiency in use of CAD software is required. Experience with Microstation CAD software is highly desirable. Ability to analyze and effectively document large volumes of technical data is essential. Demonstrated experience participating in and performing effectively in a project team environment. Proven ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and changing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook is required Skill in oral and written communication to effectively fulfill client/customer/team requirements.
