Senior Business Analysis
Be the Senior Liaison between the Lines of Business and the Development Team. Analyze Business requirements to understand the business needs and determine how their applications can best functionally fulfill those needs. Combine knowledge of what the business wants with knowledge of how the systems are built and used to create a functional designs across applications. Utilize your proficiency in knowledge of business applications and word processing and flow charting tools. This position should typically be used for a mid-level, more seasoned, fully proficient resource. Roles and Responsibilities: As a Senior Business Systems Analyst in Mortgage Originations, you will serve as liaison between IT and business end-users Work with the business to analyze business requirements and review / produce specifications for any new/change to technology applications At times, act as Team Lead and also work with the Technical Lead and Development Team to ensure that they understand the specifications Work with training team to document system scenarios and identify roles impacted and help develop a change management / training plan Conduct business process modeling and generate applicable scenarios for the technology functionality testing team Web Based activity - the Team is ultimately responsible for shortening time it takes for a customer to create new loan and/or review rate information for each loan option in the Loan Origination System The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Must have User Interface (UI) Design experience - must also understand simple standards of good and bad UI Designs Must have front-end experience Must have 7+ years of experience working as a Business System Analyst in the UI environment Hands-on experience creating functional use cases; write UI designs Lead or 'Go-To' BSA Team experience is a plus Technical Background: SQL experience, HP's Quality Center, Visio, .NET, and ASP.NET (not write - but must be able to read the code developed); be familiar with tools from TechSmith Company IRISE experience will be a big plus Presentation skills - lead daily calls with out-of-market business partners MS Office skills are needed Background pluses: Finance, Bank, and Mortgage Key Needs: Writing functional specifications and use cases Review of written functional specifications and use cases Problem Solving Scenarios - past and possible Process flow diagrams - linking diagrams Experience building business relationships and experience in creative selling to all business partners (Executives, Business Teams and IT / Development Teams) Managing individual priorities of the multiple teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills The Manager is looking to convert this person to a full time employee.
