Job Title: Database Administrator (Level V) Location: Jersey City , NJ     Job Description: Senior SQL Server DBA with strong background in database design, performance tuning and some development skills as well. Candidate will be doing administration with SQL 2000, SQL 2005 and SQL 2008 servers.   Job Duties: Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database. Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. Candidate will be working closely with the development team.   Required Skills/Background: ·          Expert on SQL 2005 and SQL 2008 ·          Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting replication issues ·          Experience on installing SQL Server and configuring SAN and Cluster server ·          Excellent organizational skills ·          Detail oriented ·          Ability to work under pressure to meet tight delivery timelines ·          Ability to interact between application developers and DBA/Database developers     Desired Skills/Background: ·          Experience with other Microsoft products i.e. reporting services, analysis services ·          Experience with Windows 2003 & Windows 2008 ·          Experience with DBArtisan, Erwin, ETL Tools
