TAD PGS, INC. is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst for one of our partners in Washington , DC, that deals directly with the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security among other government civil agencies. We do require a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, and 10 years of related experience. You must be able to obtain a moderate risk Federal public trust clearance. The public trust clearance process authorizes the Federal government to perform background investigation for identifying negative criminal, medical, and financial findings. *It should be understood that if an offer for employment is accepted that continued employment in the position is contingent upon obtaining the clearance.* Description: Lead requirements management activities and processes for application software development team. Facilitate meetings to elicit, clarify, validate, and prioritize business requirements. Translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements and technical specifications. Create and maintain requirements documentation, including high-level requirements, use cases, and requirements traceability matrixes (RTM). Gain approval of requirements from project stakeholders. Collect and track ad hoc requirements, and review them with project stakeholders to identify possible change requests. Develop project communications, including email and requirements documentation, that is clear, compact, and precise. Development of business-oriented technical documentation such as JAD session briefing materials, user guides or training. Desired Skills: Candidates with a minimum of an active Public Trust clearance are desired. U.S. Government experience Microsoft Visio Microsoft Access SQL Developer Embarcadero ER/Studio Skills/Experience: Two years experience in software application development. At least two years of experience with relational database concepts such as data models, entity relationships, entity definitions, attribute definitions, data types, and allowed values. Must be able to demonstrate experience writing requirements that are discrete, testable, and implementation-independent. Two years experience using a software development life cycle environment methodology such as waterfall, incremental, spiral, or agile.
