We are currently seeking Business Analysts to support a major initiative on customer facing web applications at an established Financial Services client. NOTE: Due to client requirements candidates must be local to the Washington, DC area and we are not able to do Corp-toCorp or visa sponsorship. Background: Recognizing the need to have world-class customer facing applications, our client is embarking on a major effort to revitalize their entire suite of online tools and applications. The successful candidate will participate in the full life cycle of modifications from requirement gathering to working with the development team to interacting with testers. Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering is highly desired. • 8+ years as a Business/Requirement Analyst. • Significant SDLC experience. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficient analytical and problem solving skills. • Ability to work as an effective team member in support of the team objectives and to lead these efforts • Strong customer skills with internal client, external customers, IT teams and COTS vendors • Strong requirements elicitation, specification, and validation knowledge and experience. • Specific experience with use cases, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, process flows, state diagrams, context diagrams, RTMs, and system requirements. Experience with banking and/or financial experience desired. This is a highly critical and highly visible role. Candidates need to be comfortable operating in an environment with resources from difference organizations and have the communication and inter-personal skills necessary to thrive in such an environment.
