Or we are open to an hourly project at an agreed rate with a reasonable number of hours per week applied to the project. Please propose your preference.*** We are making modest improvements to our existing website Essentially the site is going from v1.0 to v1.1. We are improving some of the processes in it, making it more user friendly, adding some functions, and strengthening the underlying code and database structure for the future. Most changes are related to how the user utilizes the site and the processes and data they interact with. There is only very modest graphic design work required as the site is intentionally graphically simple. Because we are improving the functions of the site, there is some database programming required. The site has very modest existing databases and we want to further develop the site's database structures as necessary to support the new functions we are adding. We will provide the most current set of files for the website that the programmer can proceed from. We expect the programmer to host a functionally-working development site where we can review the work done so far, provide feedback, etc. We feel a programmer who is a good fit for this project will have: - excellent programming and php skills - good mySQL database experience - excellent experience and understanding of web page design and user interaction - Ability to dedicate time and energy to complete this project in approx 2-3 weeks - Ability to be flexible as the project moves forward, realizing that some elements of the scope may change as needed to accomplish the goals of v1.1 - Able to absorb and understand what we are trying to accomplish with this site and project. Be a proactive "partner" in the development of the site. - We hope to establish a solid working relationship with a programmer, who is reliable, who we can plan to work with in the future on future updates to the site. See attached scope of work. The attached scope of work may change or the details may be adjusted in order to accomplish the goals of the project. Any items with lined out text are items that have been completed already. We have left them in the SOW document for reference. We are looking for a proposal that is based on an agreed hourly rate and a budget range of hours expected to complete the work. We can also set up the project as an Escrow job. We have additional documents that provide additional information on this scope of work, particularly some specifics on page layouts, etc. and will provide those as required.
