C++ Developer San Jose, CA We have an urgent opening for the below position with our direct client: Position: C++ Developer Duration: 1 year Location: San Jose, CA Phone then in person Develop and document a library of C++ modules that will: Read flat files Perform lookups against oracle talbles Validate input data Log errors to an Oracle table Output valid data to a flat file High performance is critical Map database tables to Tibco Spotfire (Desired) Map database tables to Business Objects. Create Business Object reports. Create Tibco Spotfire reports (Desired) Develop web interfaces. Scope of Work: Review detailed functional specifications Understand the specifications Recognize questionable design issues and question such design issues Produce a high level technical specification Develop compact, documented, and easily maintained code that implements the functional requirements according to the technical specifications. Work Environment: Developer will work independently but will communicate closely with project management and will work in sync with the team. (team oriented) Role the Position and Department has within the Organization: This position will be a part of the Engineering Data Analysis Group within the IT department The position will report to the YMS project manager.
