Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Quality Technician on a 6 Month Contract to HIRE opportunity with a leading company in Columbus, Ohio. Our client is the largest custom plastic extrusion manufacturer in all of North America and they are looking for talented individuals to help fill an immediate opening in their company. In this position candidates will be responsible for the inspection of components, assemblies, and finished products. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Performs visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished product and assemblies. Assist quality and engineering in investigations of process related quality issues. Write Non Conforming Materials Reports and be familiar with the process of quarantining products that have been rejected by QA. Maintain information systems, completes accurate records in order to provide excellent results, and to complete records for continuous improvement. Specific Experience/Requirements Experience with QA is required. Experience in a plastics or manufacturing environment preferred. Candidate needs to have good interpersonal skills along with good written and oral communication skills to communicate with all levels of management and staff. Strong computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. Education: 2 year Associates Degree is preferred, but not required for this role. Contract type: 6 month contract to HIRE Shift: Must be willing to work either 2nd or 3rd shift Payrate: hourly rate will depend on years of experience in quality and manufacturing.
