Assembler - E/M, PCB, Medical Devices
Utilizing manufacturing equipment, tooling and various systems, will perform assembly, test, surface mount technology operations, fine pitch soldering, rework, and other duties as necessary. Interaction with engineering, quality, and other departmental members as required to ensure top quality in all aspects of manufacturing operations. Responsibilities/Duties: - Operate production equipment and utilize tools to build electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with operation policies and procedures. - Strict attention to detail required and documentation of work flows and test results. - Train and coach other production line employees as required. - Operate within standard operating procedures (SOP’s), job safety, and ISO 13485. - Verify raw material supply revision and count in assembly production. - Inspect and reject raw material in assembly production. - Complete daily production logs. - Assist Manufacturing/Engineering in repair work. . Background/Experience/Skills: - Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in an electro-mechanical production environment. - Previous medical device assembly experience required. - Ability to perform hands-on assembly tasks and also must possess proficiency with tools and related equipment in a manufacturing setting. - Surface mount technology operations, fine pitch soldering, rework. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and exciting growth environment and work in both team and independent modes. - Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. - Familiarity and proficiency with personal computers.
