We are currently seeking an SAP IS-U Device Management Lead for a contract opportunity based out of our Vancouver, BC offices Start date(s): September 2012 Duration: 2 Years Extensions: Yes, multiple Reference: #333-25-MH2438 DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Supporting the SAP IS-U system specifically the CCS Device Management area and supporting the SAP CCS Solution Lead in meeting the operations requirements and project delivery Leading the team in delivering quality products and providing hands-on delivery support working directly in the system as required Planning, managing and delivering CCS Device Management-related work requests, tickets and projects on time and on budget Planning, designing and implementing efficiency improvement plans for current operations and for major changes (e.g. upgrades, migrations, support packages, etc) of CCS Device Management processes. Analyzing, documenting and supporting device management business processes including IS-U technical master data maintenance, installation/removal/replacement of devices, meter reading and estimation, and work order processing. Identifying impacts and process improvements related to Device Management resulting from key capital projects like Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Work Management and Supply Chain Making proactive proposals for continuous improvements which adhere to standards and guidelines Communicating regularly with CCS Solution Lead to address process and system improvements, as well as KPIs, quality and costs based on SLAs. Managing end-user and client relationship and providing assistance to SAP CCS Solution Lead with issue, change and escalation management Producing timely status reports to the CCS Solution Lead on all sustainment activities and issues/concerns Liaising with the business and other team members MUST-HAVES: Minimum of five (5) years of consulting experience in SAP Minimum 3 years of production support experience At least 3 full lifecycles of SAP Implementations or upgrades Experience with ECC 6.0/EHP5 Strong level of experience with SAP IS-U specializing in Device Management area Hands-on configuration experience with SAP IS-U specializing in Device Management and Meter Reading area; and ability to support new and ongoing issues/development in: Configuration and technical problems Business process errors Usability and personalization Access In depth functional and/or technical knowledge of Device Management business processes and customizations Good understanding of IS-U data model Specify experience with CRM IC, CRM ISU Data Replication Good understanding of change management procedures and policies, preferably using Solution Manager Experience with designing integration solutions Experience in coordinating the integration and configuration of SAP systems working with multiple teams at the same time Advanced troubleshooting and problem analysis experience SAP certification or equivalent educational background Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Strong coordination, time management and planning skills Able to work under pressure in a dynamic, complex environment Excellent team building abilities; able to work as a team member, sharing knowledge for the benefit of the team and the service Strong written and oral communication skills Excellent understanding of ASAP methodology Availability for occasional after-hours and call out support responsibilities NICE-TO-HAVES: Experience with AMI, Field Mobility and Work Management Please address all email inquiries in .doc or .docx (MS WORD) format, along with your background & experience compared to the requirements of this opportunity quoting reference #333-25-MH2438 in the subject line of your email.
