Our client is seeking to hire a SCRUM Master who will be responsible for ensuring that the Agile / Scrum methodology is being implemented and used as intended. This person is accountable for removing barriers that would prevent the team from delivering sprint goal/objectives. The person in this role will create, develop and plan Agile execution of multiple technical and business projects in accordance with the organizational priorities, quality, budget and time constraints. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success as a SCRUM Master. SCRUM Master Responsibilities: Schedule and facilitate all sprint meetings (Standup, Sprint Demo, Sprint Planning, Retrospective and Backlog Grooming) Facilitate removing barriers that impact the team's ability to meet goals/objectives and ensure cooperation across all roles and functions to prevent barriers from occurring Enforce the rules and safeguard the process Ensure that the Development Team stays focused on the tasks Monitor daily issues impacting the team, facilitate resolutions and escalation as necessary and provide application support Act as Scrum Master for cross functional team consisting of developers, product owner, designers and testers and coordinate the delivery of components Facilitate productivity Understand the basic fundamentals of iterative development Act as liaison between non-technical staff/business users and development team Coordinate prioritization with technical product owner Provide feedback to Management team SCRUM Master Qualifications: 3+years of experience leading Agile / Scrum application development teams Prefer Scrum Master Certification Experience in technical Quality Assurance Prefer experience with Confluence, Jira, Crucible, Fish Eye tools Must possess strong team work and people skills, ability to lead teams Display strong communications skills (verbal and written) Demonstrate ability to develop user stories, use cases, and functional and non-functional requirements Demonstrate backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity and task definition Experience working with on and offshore team members Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices
