We have an excellent opportunity for a Sr. .Net Developer in Lexington, KY. This position is a permanent opportunity with a choice to go contract first, if desired. Salary for permanent employees range from $90,000-105,000 and $45-55/hr during the contract. This position also offers amazing benefits ranging from full Health, Dental, Vision, and 401k. Responsibilities will include: Working in a Sr. Level HealthCare environment, implementing state of the art Health Information Exchanges Analysis, design and architecture, development, and implementation of new HIE initiatives using C# and ASP.NET. Support of HIE distributed applications including on-call production support. Requirements: 8+ years overall IT experience including database development, architecture and design, and distributed applications development. Microsoft development technologies with 4+ year’s experience using C# / .NET. ASP.NET/C#, WCF and an understanding of HTTP, HTML, JavaScript .NET (preferred 4.0) Experience with SQL Server Component & Object Oriented Development and an ability to understand and write UML models is preferred. Candidate must be able to contribute in all layers of development, testing and implementation. Preferred: 2+ years health industry experience is an advantage. A team player attitude and must demonstrate an understanding of OO principles and practices. Experience with BizTalk and/or SQL report development is a plus.
