Flex Software Engineer Global supplier to the mining industry 12 month contract Excellent environment This product will transform mining through introduction of autonomous vehicles Work with a very talented & dedicated team CBD based & competitive salary package Your focus will be to develop client side component of a major enterprise solution including the convergence of product HMI's and the migration from Java Swing to Adobe Flex. The product is used to manage mining operations for above & below ground and will transform the mining industry as the company is introducing autonomous vehicles starting with haulage trucks. The product utilises J2EE (Spring, Hibernate), Flex, Business Objects, SQLServer & Oracle. It is distributed, has complex work flows and has quasi Real Time components. To be successful in obtaining this role, you will possess the following: Proficiency in Adobe Flex Ability to trouble shoot complex software problems Ability to trace work flows through software applications and query data stores Strong interpersonal & communication skills Team player Self starter Track record of building quality solutions Degree in IT or engineering Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable: Product development Server Side development using Java GPS, GIS, XML, network or communications Mining industry The role is based in the Brisbane CBD in a very convenient location.
