Position Title: .NET Software Developer Duration: Contract - 12 Months Location: Atlanta, GA 30309 Our client is seeking an experienced .NET developer for a 12 month, contract position in Midtown Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience using Microsoft development tools and practices, and have an excellent grasp of the .NET Framework and C# to code a suite of multi-tier, event-driven applications. Our client offers a generous benefits package, including onsite childcare. .Net Developer Responsibilities: Interface with internal business partners and internal IT application programmers for both new development and problem determination/resolution Adhere to the established change control policies and prescribed procedures Produce documentation and procedures as per company standards Correct reported problems with software under his/her responsibility Utilize a problem management tool to track open tickets and follow up to resolution and closure Execute special projects or other related duties as required Develop new functionality per business partner requests in a standard release cycle Minimum Requirements: Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field 3 years' experience with the following: n-tier architecture development, windows and web services development experience, WCF, WPF, and XAML 3+ years (technically proficient) in C# language Thorough understanding of the .NET framework (4.0 and higher) Good understanding of user interface design principles Ability to provide high quality code for mission critical applications Preferred Experience: Developing loosely coupled systems using dependency injection Building control templates and custom controls for WPF applications Developing publish/subscribe event-driven applications Use of the Microsoft Extensibility Framework Developing MVVM-based Windows applications For immediate consideration, please contact Tim Pape.
