This network engineer will need to perform remote and on-site network assessments. This individual should be familiar with network test tools such as Ixia. This engineer should be able to travel frequently to locations in the Midwest and document existing network infrastructures and generate deployment plans to remediate the network as necessary. Duties include: Creates of Bill of Materials for network implementation and expansion for hardware procurement. Designs equipment into engineering systems. Provided Engineering and Installation design packages for installation and activation in the network. Maintains network, facility, and other pertinent diagrams as necessary for supporting and maintaining the carrier network and infrastructure. Responsible for physical and logical capacity planning and management to support network expansion with project growth forecast and order commitments. Manages small and large scale projects to ensure deliverables are met on-time. Maintains TID management, IP Addressing and IP allocation for equipment and network interfaces. Required Skills: 11 years of comparable experience/education. Network engineering background. Network assessment experience. Familiarity with network test tools.
