We are new startup venture setting up an online business that is partially based on a crowd sourcing/project bidding conceptual foundation (with focus on one specfic industry vertical). Getting closer to the end of the functional requirements specification phase we are now looking for a technical/web consultant who can guide our choice of solution development strategy and vendor. Specifically, the consultant must be able to provide clear recommendation on 1. solution development approach (clone, semi clone/bespoke, or fully from the ground developed bespoke solution); 2. core technology/platform; 3. specific vendors to engage for proposals given the decisions we make under point 1 and 2. We understand the recommendation is at least partly dependent on the business model, and available timeline and budget. The selected consultant will be briefed on these aspects upon engagement. The consultant must have prior experience with and solid understanding and knowledge of: - crowd sourcing/project bidding solutions such as Elance, Freelancer, Guru, and oDesk; - different solution development approaches including clone development and vendors such as Agriya and Ncrypted Technologies; - relevant web technology and CMS frameworks such as Joomla, Drupal, and Liferay.
