Business / Data Analyst
Manage Client On-Boarding activities for Global Markets business, such as Equities Trading / FIX and Foreign Exchange Trading / FX Services. Effectively manage and execute the technical activities associated with implementation of new client or investment manager mandates. Work with external client's technical contact(s) to perform analysis on integration with Global Markets' Trading Platforms, Systems, or Services. Use results of analysis to classify and manage the integration activities. Liaise with the Account Management, Sales or Trading Managers and their client's technical contacts and build a mutually agreeable timeline and implementation plan. According to the classification, coordinate with internal service partners to execute and deliver the requisite components of the plan. Manage third party providers, off-shore resources or other teams responsible for implementation activities, such as development, QA, configuration, connectivity, data mapping, etc. Utilize your ability to perform systems configurations, data mapping, and/or facilitate establishment of connectivity methods if needed. Be responsible for developing and executing UAT test plans and for conducting end to end testing with external clients or their service providers. Coordinate end to end testing with downstream application owners as needed. Be responsible for deploying or overseeing the deployment of business processes to the production environment. Ensure proper hand-off is conducted at go live date; with service delivery and support teams internally with trading managers and external client's technical support staff. Be accountable for management of documentation libraries to include Rules of Engagement (ROE) documents, team operating procedures, etc. Produce quality management reporting and associated metrics. Stay abreast of industry developments that may affect the processes, standards, protocols, tools, or technology being used to support the business. The successful Data Analyst applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Must be able to provide Level-2 support to Technical Operations Teams periodically, using Third Party FIX engine, UNIX logs, SQL, and File Transfer Directories You may also manage LEAN or process improvement projects related to IT Client On-boarding Candidates must have experience with FIX Protocols 4.2 and 4.4; asset classes (Equities and Foreign Exchange), and experience with client testing and Software Quality Assurance principles Strong leadership skills are essential Relationship, project management, and negotiation skills Strong verbal and written communications skills Proven ability to work effectively with varied functional teams and varied management levels (preferred) Experience working with service bureaus and FIX aggregators such as CRD, Linedata, Bloomberg, Autex Thomson Reuters (ATR), ITG, Tradeware, ULLINK, etc. Experience with Order Management Systems SQL experience Expertise with file transfer protocols (preferred) Experience with data mapping tools will be very helpful
