Insurance Adjuster
The Insurance Adjuster denies, settles, or authorizes payments to routine property/casualty claims based on coverage, appraisal, and verifiable damage. Responsibilities also include corresponding with policyholders, claimants, witnesses, attorneys, etc. to gather important information to support contested claims in court. The Insurance Adjuster also prepares report of findings of an investigation. To be considered for the Insurance Adjuster position, candidates must have experience in a similar role or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed. Additional Qualifications: May require an associate's degree in a related area and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
