Skills Required: * A minimum of 5 years experience within Network Support/Network Engineering * Cisco/Nortel/Avaya networking (or anything similar) * Knowledge of WAN and LAN technologies - Internet, intranet, security, incident and change management systems to evaluate design and maintain. * Understanding of structured cabling. * Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to perform general mathematical calculations for the purpose of creating needs assessments, budgets, and so on. * Write training guides and demonstrate functionality to staff and colleagues in IT. Role & Responsibilities: * The ability to monitor IT Network systems and reduce incidence re-occurring. * Test business applications, network and server performance and provide performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining core infrastructure. * Adherence to all IT security policies and assistance in enforcing and monitoring of IT security policies. * Understand requirements of business and suggest appropriate technologies to help deliver business goals.
