Computer operator/ PC/Computer Technician
Shift: Night (Wed � Fri) alternate Saturday�s Provide 24x7x365 Multidivisional monitoring of critical system & applications. Provide support/troubleshooting for Intel, UNIX, and Network environments where appropriate. This role will require a self motivated individual that can multitask and adapt to a dynamic work environment. The individual should have a strong customer focus, and have average skills in multiple environments. Strong troubleshooting and hands on skills are required. Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of major Windows subsystems and administration tools. Experience supporting Intel server technologies, including Windows NT & 2000, 2003 & OS/2. Working knowledge of Intel server hardware configurations. Candidate should be familiar with all major server components (BIOS, RAID/disk subsystems, NIC, etc). Should be able to physically change out hard drives, rebuild machines, swap memory, etc. Canidate will be required to provide break / fix support, maintenance and monitoring of the enterprise network infrastructure and assist in creating network specific documentation for the group. Role may also include facilitation and coordination of Critical Incident recovery efforts, ensuring the correct support teams are engaged and focus is maintained to completion. College degree or equivalent work experience. Excellent Troubleshooting techniques. Ability to clearly document issues and resolution steps. Working knowledge of Intel Hardware, Citrix & VMware hosting, and UNIX/AIX/HP. Minimum of 2 years experience with monitoring tools (HP Openview, ethereal, wireshark, NETQos, OpNet, VoIP, NAC). Minimum of 2 years with network protocols (hsrp, arp, dns, dhcp, vtp, vmps, eigrp, bgp, vrrp, hsrp) Dynamic VLANs.
