The Senior Java Developer / Programmer located in San Antonio, Texas will have the following responsibilities: * Write clean standards compliant semantic markup * Demonstrate an understanding of the need to adhere to and enforce web standards * Write production ready JavaScript following enterprise coding standards * Write production ready CSS following enterprise coding standards * Debug browser-specific defects and provide solutions * Communicate with back-end Engineers to integrate presentation and application tiers This role requires demonstrated strong knowledge and effective implementation of the following areas: * Strong OO programming skills * Strong understanding of programming design patterns and principals * Understanding enterprise coding design principals to include code for reuse, maintenance, frameworks and large scale architectures, encapsulation and abstraction * JavaScript * CSS * Wicket * Java
