This position is located in Walnut Creek or Pleasanton, CA. (Sr. Network Engineer / Architect ) 15+ years of network design and deployment experience with Cisco routers and switches. Expert knowledge of MPLS VPN architecture, OSPF and BGP protocols and strong experience of LAN switching technologies. Must have an in-depth experience in the design of large scale Data Center Networks. Understanding of the converged voice, video and data network design. Familiar with WAN acceleration technology and internet-based technologies and tools. Understanding of Wireless technologies and Security protocols including encryption and authentication. Ability to operate with network-troubleshooting tools. Familiarity with the principles related to secure network design practices. Strong oral and written English communication skills. Ability to interface with senior management and business partners. Excellent organizational, project management, interpersonal, time management and strong presentation skills.
