TEKsystems is searching for a AS400 Computer Operator for a contract to permanent opportunity. THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT/NIGHT OPERATOR POSITION. THE SHIFT IS 10:00PM TO 7:00AM WITH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY OFF. - In charge of the nightly operations of the multiple AS400s and peripherals. - Run reports as requested during non-office hours. - Must be able to work without direct supervision during his/her regular business hours. - Maintain an inventory of supplies needed for the AS400s and generate Requisition Forms. - Responsible for the Daily and Monthly AS400 backup media. - Develop and/or maintain updated AS400 and related hardware and software operation documentation. - Support the operation of AS400 related software packages. - Interact with the rest of IS personnel in areas related to the overall Join TEKsystems() and get your career on the fast track.
