We have an immediate requirement for a number of software developers to join our client in the initial phase of a large program of work on their new an exciting offering which will compliment their current solutions group. This new and challenging project requires the very best software developers with experience of working in a development environment with all the challenges of building a new product from proof of concept through to implementation. This outstanding contract opportunity will require resources based in both Melbourne and Sydney for an initial 6 months with potential for 6/12 months extension & potential for permanent transition. Together with outstanding consultative and technical abilities you will have a passion for developing technology working under pressure and working with other highly skilled and experienced consultants. This role requires the successful candidate to work on Development, Testing & documentation of Platform & Applications. To be considered for these roles you will possess the following experience: 3-5 years hands on development exp in any of the following Java, Python, Ruby, Erland or similar Solid Javascript development experience Linux development experience Experience working with any common Open Source systems and databases Familiar with Agile development and SCRUM methodologies Excellent documentation and communication abilities Candidates that possess these additional desirable skills will be highly regarde Experience with HTML5 technologies, including Javascript & CSS3 User Experience (UX) analysis, development, and testing Experience working with Test Frameworks Project experience with client-side MVC frameworks eg Ember.js, Backbone.js Project experience with single-page application pattern Experience with Node.js This project is really looking for consultants who want to achieve excellence who want to be part of a great development team working together and independently to achieve an outstanding result.
