Our client, who is a leading hi-tech organisation, with a presence in over 150 countries world-wide, has its UK Head Quarters based in Reading. Due to a recent expansion, through a recent acquisition, and to cover a period of holidays and high volumes of work-load, our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join the European Accounts team. This role, initially on an on-going basis, would suit individuals who are committed, loyal and hard-working and are happy to work in a fast-paced environment. My client is open to applications from candidates who are qualified by experience, or AAT Qualified applicants. Reporting to the Finance Manager, working within a finance team of 20, your duties will include: - Daily cash-allocations in various currencies (including Euros, £'s and $'s) to customer accounts - High volumes of reconciliations to bank and customer accounts - Allocating payments - Ad-hoc project work, as and when required - Systems: Excel, Word, Peoplesoft, in-house systems Please contact me for further information - and my client is able to offer an immediate start.
