Ciber Inc. is seeking a Billing Solutions Architect knowledgeable in prepaid/postpaid Billing systems, extensive solution architect experience and with excellent communication and above average leadership skills. Job Description: Lead design efforts with developers, other architects, system analysts Break down business and technology problems (not code level discussions) Help in taking ideas, flush them out, gather/facilitate design teams, and make recommendations on how to move forward Determine high level system architecture Help to define architectural standards and best practices within those disciplines Interact with senior management and others to effect solutions in support of technical and business requirements Prepare and maintain documents that include architecture diagrams, data models, and navigation maps Analyze and prepare recommendations to address existing and potential trouble areas in systems and procedures as well as design and recommendation on new solutions both in relation to hardware and software design Qualifications: Needs to be able to lay out a technical solution in a way that the client could easily understand Strong experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Worked in or around Agile projects Understanding of architectural concepts, n-tier architectures, and databases.
