Position Details: Position: Mortgage Underwriting Quality Analyst Location: Jacksonville, FL 32256 Job Description: *Provides analytical and administrative support within an internal control environment. *Assists team in gathering and organizing data that helps track, report and manage internal control gap issues and mitigation plans. *Requires substantial knowledge of operating policies and procedures, works with internal customers to establish and perform quality control, and assists with analysis and development of recommendations. * Work will need to be completed independently on general assignments and under the direction of more senior staff on complex projects and analysis. *Additional responsibilities include: regular statistical reporting and undertaking audits to ensure compliance with control procedures, as well as working with internal QC/QA partners and business partners. Required Experience/Qualifications: 1. Experience in Default Servicing and/or JR Underwriting 2. Must be able to calculate income to debt ratios. 3. 2 + years of Loan Processing experience 4. Verbal / written communication skills 6.
