Glasshouse, a fast paced services company is currently recruiting for a Senior Level Security Contractor located in the Mid West with accessibility to the Chicago area. The consultant will have in his or her background the following: risk assessment, firewall rule set review and administration skills, Security Monitoring and Management of IDS/IPS/AV/FW as well as being well versed in Auditing, Compliance, fault monitoring, LAN/WAN and SIM Management. Other requirements for this role are: BS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Engineering; MBA preferred CISSP/CISM/CCIE Ability to travel extensively (role requires 75-100%) Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 8 years of experience leading workshops and solution sessions, and delivering complex professional services Key Responsibilities: Perform business risk assessments for IT projects/technologies and firewall rule requests Utilize engineering and architectural standards to review, manage and implement firewall rules and infrastructure changes to ensure compliance with architectural standards Simplify logical security zones and overall firewall configuration Administer firewall rule additions, changes, and deletions while still ensuring security risks are managed Additional background will include a combination of the following: Ability to perform security assessments on wireless and enterprise networks Ability to design and implement security programs to comply with industry and government regulations and best practices (PCI; ISO27001; NIST-800; GLBA; DIACAP; EU Directive 95/46/EC) Vulnerability Tracking; Remediation and Prioritization Log Management, Fault Monitoring, SIM Management Security Monitoring and Management of IDS/IPS/AV/FW Incident Response, Forensics, eDiscovery tools and process Security Policy and Procedure development Penetration Testing Strong Understanding of LAN, WAN, and remote access technologies Excellent oral and written communication skills (documentation, client presentations, etc) Please forward your resume /cover letter to Doug Cohen , Senior HR Recruiter at careers@glasshouse.com No third party resumes will be accepted EEOC/AA
