Please see below for details. BIG PICTURE: This position will work in our client's Reporting & Analytics Team. This group is responsible for maintaining the data warehouse, and producing data reports (business intelligence) for the business stakeholders. Must Have Skills: 1. Data Warehouse Development: building out the tables (t-sql), entering data files, SQL Server, T-SQL, development (or okay if Oracle experience instead) 2. Data modeling: experience with concepts like Star / Snowflake Schema, Erwin, designing data marts 3. Data Mining, ETL, SSIS (or other type of ETL tools like Informatica, etc.) Job Description: DATA WAREHOUSE DEVELOPMENT (80%) - Data warehouse Development (taking direction from the Data Warehouse Architect) - Building out the data tables (using data modeling concepts) - Inserting data files - Taking "data files" and loading (ETL) them into the Data Warehouse - May do some data mining analysis, write SSIS packages, ETL BUSINESS ANALYSIS (20%) - Interact with functional experts, to understand business issues, challenges and identify new opportunities - Develop functional and technical requirements - Develop test plan and specification to ensure that developed solution meets all user requirements Thank you for your interest in TEKsystems and I look forward to hearing from you.
