Project Title: Domain Name Registrar - EPP Work Project Description: We are setting up a domain name registrar. So far, we have applied to be accreditated by just one domain name registry. However, we intend to apply for more in future. The domain name registry is SGNIC (.sg ccTLD). We will have a professional domain name registrar website, offering the essentials offered by major international domain name registrars. This website will be powered by WHMCS, and the whole domain name registration, maintenance, and management process, will be automated. Phase 1 Objective: To pass SGNIC's (.sg ccTLD domain name registry) Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E). Description: Customize the Afilis EPP framework to communicate with SGNIC's Shared Registry System (SRS). Commands will have to be modified as necessary to ensure efficient and effective communication with SGNIC's SRS. Integration should encompass all available commands of SGNIC's SRS. The following are a list of some (but not all) required functions: - Check if the domain name is available - Retrieving/updating domain name contact information - Retrieving/updating domain name server (DNS) list - Retrieving/updating domain name attributes - Retrieving/updating a domain name transfer lock - Retrieving the expiration date of a domain name - Register a domain name - Renew a domain name - Transfer in/out a domain name - Retrieve the entire list of domain names registered with us - Retrieve a list of expired/expiring domain names Time Allocated: 2 weeks Phase 2 Objective: Integrate with WHMCS. Be able to perform all the standard features listed on /Domains_Management. We need a WHMCS domain name registrar module to integrate with our domain name registrar system. /Domain_Registrars /API /Registrar_Module_Developer_Docs Time Allocated: 6 weeks Phase 3 Objective: Become a full-featured domain name registrar, with all the advanced features available on websites such as namecheap.com, and enom.com. Time Allocated: 12 weeks Skills required: PHP, Perl, EPP, XML Resources Provided to Developer: A WHMCS development server with access to SGNIC's EPP test system. Development Requirements: The code should be well designed and documented so it can be easily extended in the future. Should you be wish to bid for all three phases, please indicate the total bid price (should a bulk discount be offered to us). Please also indicated the time required. Developer will give the sourcecode to us after finishing the job and all sourcecode developed for this project will be our property.
