Sessional Tutors - ESOL/Functional Skills (Teacher, Lecturer) BLUS4362 HMP Woodhill, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire �21.59 per hour Our client is a national specialist offender learning provider with a wealth of experience in this sector. The role of their Offender Learning Directorate is to develop learning and skills provision, working locally with other partners, that meets the needs of offenders in custody and contributes to the aim of reducing reoffending. They are seeking to appoint Sessional cover Tutors in ESOL / Functional SKills to work within the Education Department at HMP Woodhill. You will be required to develop lesson plans based around best practice and quality targets, actively contributing to development and ensuring the safeguarding of learners. Emphasis is placed on tutors working in partnership with prison and probation colleagues to create a cohesive learning journey that improves employability and contributes to the reduction of re-offending. Candidates applying for sessional Tutor roles must hold a teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 new standards), with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within a specified timescale.
