OVERVIEW: Maintains a broad view of project architecture, including application, information, infrastructure, and process Leads and coordinates technical activities and artifacts for a specific application, website, game or supporting system Designs the overall structure for each architectural view: the decomposition of the view, the grouping of elements, and the interfaces between element groups Articulates and mediates trade-offs related to scalability, manageability, testability, security, maintainability, usability, functionality, cost, and time QUALIFICATIONS: Technology experience, at least 4 years of which have been in an architecture role Experience with requirements analysis, software development, databases, hardware, quality assurance, and technology operations Experience with eCommerce and governance around eCommerce systems Knowledge of popular role playing games' properties a plus Must have Designer skills and experience with a job that was officially titled Architect Ability to grasp issues quickly and make educated, critical judgments in the absence of complete information Ability to provide an enterprise technology vision for a project Ability to solve complex problems in a challenging environment Ability to effectively determine, understand, and satisfy business requirements Ability to lead the technical efforts of various teams, make critical decisions under pressure, and make those decisions stick Ability to work effectively with the production / dev / QA team on technical issues, and the manager and business teams handling administrative issues and the communication of program status Skills to communicate well with team members to earn trust, persuade, motivate, and mentor Ability to earn the respect of the project team, the project manager, the customer, and the user community, as well as the management team For more information about career opportunities with CompuCom IT Workforce Solutions visit www.compucom.com/careers.
